2. Winter Hot Music
3. I remember you ~YUI Acoustic Version~
4. Rolling star ~Instrumental~
This is YUI’s 7th single and it was released on January 17, 2007. The single reached #3 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 169,277 copies. The title track was used as the 5th opening theme song for the anime BLEACH.
Just to set the record straight, I did not like Rolling star. It’s a fast song with good riffs but it’s way too short. To me, the song just seemed really forgettable and I know YUI can do better. Along with LIFE, the other song that was used in BLEACH, this is one of my least favorite songs from her.
The B-side is the somewhat better Winter Hot Music. This song is really laid back with nice acoustics but it’s still not as good as her previous B-sides. It just kind of drags on and on and her vocals aren’t that good either.
The YUI Acoustic Version of I remember you features gentler vocals and the acoustics are done very well. There is nothing much else to say except that it follows the same formula as her acoustic versions. It’ll be interesting to hear the acoustic version of Rolling star on her next single CHE.R.RY.

Lex, I know there isn’t a proper review you’ve created for LIFE, but could you explain briefly why you don’t like the song, please? I’m interested to know what you think about it and why it isn’t memorable to you. =]
