1. Hava Rava
2. Hajimete Umi wo Mita Toki ni wa
3. Hava Rava (Instrumental)
4. Hajimete Umi wo Mita Toki ni wa

This is WaT’s 3rd single and it was released on August 2, 2006. The single reached #4 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 91,575 copies.

Hava Rava starts off with the normal style of music WaT is known for, but it quickly changes to a fast paced summery pop song. The vocals are equally as fast and this probably WaT’s most upbeat song to date. It’s a nice change from their previous releases and it was definitely a surprise for me. The striking thing about this song is their pronounciation of ‘hava hava’, which they don’t get right. Can you say ‘haba laba’?

The B-side, Hajimete Umi wo Mita Toki ni wa, is pretty much the antithesis of Hava Rava. It’s very relaxing with calming electric guitar riffs and vocals. The song is very remiscent of previous ones like Michishirube and Boku no Kimochi.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Hava Rava is a REALLY refreshing song and I hope they release more songs like it but I honestly prefer their mid-tempo songs, but that’s just me.
