3. Secrets
4. Precious -Instrumental-

This is Yuna Ito’s 3rd single and it was released on May 3, 2006. The single reached #3 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 218,183 copies. The title track was used as the theme song for the movie LIMIT OF LOVE: Umizaru.

Precious blew me away the first time I heard it. It’s a beautiful ballad with an awesome R&B beat in the background. Ito’s vocals are the best I’ve heard and she has improved greatly since ENDLESS STORY, especially during the chorus. She HAS powerful vocals and she finally shows them off in this song. The ending of the song is especially good when background choir vocals come into play. It gives the song a very nice gospel feeling with some soul too.

I really liked the B-sides on this single because they are both really upbeat and cheerful. The first one, I’m Free, features an extremely catchy chorus and excellent percussion. The English phrases in the song are the best part, making the overall experience more enjoyable.

The next B-side, Secrets, is a little more laid back with a nice beat. The low pitched background vocals are a nice touch and they should be because they are a large part of the song itself. Compared to I’m Free, this song has a little more R&B flavor in it.
