This is Yuna Ito’s 5th single and it was released on September 6, 2006. The single reached #19 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 10,484 copies. The title track was used as the ending theme song for the 2nd season of the Japanese broadcast of the show Lost. This is the 2nd single in Ito’s ‘hot’ and ‘cool’ limited edition single releases, stuck on you being the ‘hot summer single’ and this one being the ’cool fall’ single.

It was kind of funny to hear Ito sing some Engrish in losin’. It’s pretty obvious that someone else wrote the lyrics: We’re losing dream…tell me why lose yeah. This is a pretty laid back song, but it’s still drastically different from her earlier works. The chorus is the best part of the song because it features catchy vocals from Ito. The bridge is another highlight of the song.

I didn’t really like the B-side, Stay for Love, because it just seemed extremely average to me. The song has some electronica influences and her voice does not blend well with them. However, this does make a nice dance track and I really like the beats.

I’m not a big fan of remixes but I LOVED the Simplicity Mix of losin’. It’s a great club remix and it’s almost as good as the original.
