This is Yuna Ito’s 6th single (and her 2nd under the stage name REIRA starring YUNA ITO) and it was released on December 6, 2006. The single reached #10 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 46,780 copies. The title track is the ending theme song for the movie NANA 2, the sequel to the popular movie adaptation of the manga where Ito reprised her role as Reira Serizawa. The 2nd track was also used as an insert song in the film.

Compared to ENDLESS STORY, Truth is a little more slower paced but it does sound more epic and grandiose. Ito showcases her strong vocals during the chorus and mixes in some English lyrics (Give me your loneliness and I’ll give you my tenderness). I especially love the bridge because the electric guitar solo is quite nice and Ito’s vocals combined with the strong percussion during the final chorus is amazing.

The B-side, Take Me Away, is definitely more of a pop /rock song. The song is very upbeat with a catchy chorus. Like JOURNEY, this is the only other song that Ito has done that has followed the TRAPNEST style seen in the NANA manga because it is more rock influenced (you can correct me if I’m wrong because my knowledge of NANA is limited).

The next track is the Little Big Bee Lovespell Mix of ENDLESS STORY. I don’t think this song works well with a dance beat and it just sounds silly. I mean, ENDLESS STORY is a beautiful song and this remix totally ruins it. This song shouldn’t be remixed in any way.
