Suki Nanda (好きなんだ) is Younha’s 10th single and it was released on November 18, 2009.

No words @ the cover. Except…the hair is awful and she looks dopey.

Younha had a pretty good comeback in the J-pop scene with Girl but she’s outdone herself. Even though I did like Girl, I must say that Suki Nanda is a considerable improvement. This song still has the upbeat pop formula but the arrangement is way better. The chorus is the main highlight of the song since it has nice strings and electric guitar. The acoustic driven bridge was great too.

Then she goes a little tropical for the B-side. Sunday starts off calm with island inspired steel drums but it quickly builds up into an upbeat mix of electric guitar and piano. Overall, I thought it was very pleasant.

Pros: Here are 2 well done tracks!
Cons: However, they don’t have the same high production value of her Korean works (the Someday album, for example).

BASICALLY…this single actually makes me look forward to more Japanese stuff!

Yeah, it would be awesome if Younha released a Japanese album of “Someday” caliber.
