THIS IS NOT A GAME is JASMINE’s 3rd single and it was released on March 3, 2010. The single reached #23 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold 3,129 copies (it was limited to 10,000 copies).

She’s demonic now! The promo pic that I posted below is the stuff of nightmares, too. *heads for the hills*

This is mine. This is my stage.

JASMINE is officially a fierce bitch and I’m glad she stepped it up with This Is Not A Game, the first of 3 limited singles being released once a month. Breaking the mid-tempo trend of sad to say and No More, the song is more aggressive thanks to upbeat synth and forceful vocals. It’s also a very catchy track, as well. The chorus has been stuck in my head for a while.

The B-side is…interesting. MY LIFE, MY LOVE, MY ALL is a cover of a gospel song originally performed by Kirk Franklin. Her version has a simple acoustic based arrangement and I have to admit that her English is pretty good. She also does some nice vocal acrobatics halfway through the song, too.

Pros: The A-side is very good! It’s definitely better than No More.
Cons: The cover song will make you go “WTF?” at first.

BASICALLY…Jesus, this is not a game! ♥
